I. Short-term Target: Achieve the annual performance target of school affairs.

II. Medium-term Target: Gradually realize the vision of sustainability based on YunTech’s Five-aspects Strategy through the academization, industry-university cooperation, internationalization, intellectualization and characterization.

Characterization (Student Enrollment): Set up and perfect every operating specification, for instance, formulate every rewarding rule to award project-based teachers who are excellent in teaching, research, university-and-industry collaboration and services; in the future, evaluation standards of project-based teachers will also be enhanced step by step to maximize teachers’ all-dimensional potentials.

Academicization: Integrate promising majors via operating master programs in research institutes, as well as coordinate project-based teachers and even full-time teachers of institutions to form research teams or professional communities, giving full play to interdisciplinary researches.

Industry-University Cooperation: Cooperate with Project-based Learning Center (PBL) for internship opportunities of cooperative companies, invite manufactures to hold practical lectures at campus, and list cases of industry-university cooperation into performance rating to encourage non-PBL teachers.

Internationalization: In this academic year, the College of Future plans to provide master programs. If equipped with excellent foreign teachers, we will possibly enroll international students for the purpose of contributing more to internationalization.

Intellectualization: Aiming at enlightening students’ basic knowledge and awareness of artificial-intelligence and other related areas, the General Education Center integrates all departments to develop intelligent applications. Many intelligence-based courses started to be opened in the first semester of 2018. Up till the first semester of 2020, a total of 35 classes has been set up with about 1840 students.

III. Long-term Target: In accordance with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of United Nations and the “Five-aspects Strategy”, a college-focused university will be created. Conforming to all-round demands in academic research, university-industry cooperation, sustainable courses and education of society, environment and students, we will continue our efforts in global sustainable development.
